Actually, a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo 1 is motivation for every day of the year but if this thing doesn't start your week right, we have no idea what else will. And it isn't just any Delta. This 1992 Evo 1 only has 10.000 km's on the odometer, is completely in first paint and was always well maintained. A garage sleeper that only had 2 owners in 30 years time. 

We all know this Lancia from it's rich history in rallying. Lancia took the constructor's world championship title 6 times in a row between 1987 and 1992, hereby completely dominating motorsports in that era. Juha Kankkunen also became World Champion in 1991 behind the wheel of his Lancia, holding off El Matador (Carlos Sainz) in his Toyota Celica. Didier Auriol became third in the World Championship that year and guess what he was driving? Right, a Lancia! 

The "Evoluzione" was launched as a homologation model and has some significant upgrades compared to the Integrale 16V. She stands over 5 centimeters wider (54mm front and 60mm rear) and the wheel arches are even wider. The suspension travel was improved by raising and strengthening the front strut towers. The steering rack was also strenghtened and the chassis were improved while the braking system featured larger diameter discs and two-piston Brembo calipers at the front. All changes were made to outperform the competitors even more on rally roads. The 4-cilinder 16 Turbo engine produces 210 horsepower and 300 Nm giving it a really explosive feeling. While accelerating, you're going through the rev range in a split second, on to the next gear and right back at it again. This Delta goes exactly where you want it to go thanks to the permanent four wheel drive. Thanks to the rear limited slip differential, this car can be thrown around any corner like a rear-wheel driven car with the control of a four-wheel driven car. This rally weapon is effective and does exactly what you want it to do.
