We'll explain it right away but first we're taking you back to 1976. BMW 6-Series, a name that left a big impression in the automotive industry in the 1970's . Unfortunately, this retro Grand Tourer didn't get a successor when they finished production in 1989. The exclusive coupé got replaced by the 8-series and for almost 15 years, we had to live in a world without BMW 6-Series being sold.

There was one man who felt the urge to bring back this legendary car model and that was BMW's chief designer Chris Bangle. He designed the E63 6-series that was launched at the 2003 Frankfurt Autosalon. Just like the 2002 7-Series, it featured the controversial "Bangle Butt", the typical trunk design that looks like the bootlid is lying on top of the car. The E64 cabrio came shortly after and those who were lucky enough to buy one had the choice between 4 different engines. 

But Bayerische Motoren Werke isn't just about the design, it's about sheer driving pleasure and building cars that are just right. And oh boy, this 6-series is right! This 2006 BMW 630i E64 Cabrio has exactly the right DNA. An in-line six 3.0i litre engine linked to a manual 6-speed gearbox is the perfect choice for true BMW fans. Open the roof, feel the wind in your hairs and hear the typical 6-cylinder engine singing. The engine provides 258 horsepower and 300 Nm torque, enough for a sprint to 100km/h in under 7 seconds.

We bought this unique Silbegrau Metallic beauty from the 1st Swiss owner with only 60.000 km's. This 630i is in impeccable condition and has a full BMW dealer history. It's clear that the first owner was a true BMW fan, this can be seen by the way this BMW was maintained.
