Lancia - Delta IntegraleVERKOCHT

Omschrijving

Direct from the 2nd Italian owner, Lancia Delta Integrale Evo I “Verde York” edition with only 27.000KM in perfect condition and complete with full service history.

The Lancia Delta - originally developed as a regular family car - was turned inside out in 1985 with the introduction of S4 for Group B rallying. The idea was short-lived, as the S4 was withdrawn from racing with the cancelation of the unlimited class in 1986. For the 1987 season, Lancia added a by Abarth-prepared Delta HF 4WD. The Lancia dominated its World Rally Championship with 46 WRC wins and won the Constructors' Championship six times in a row, from 1987 to 1992. This included championship titles for Juha Kankkunen in 1987 and 1991 and Miki Biasion in 1988 and 1989. At the time, the Lancia Delta Group A was second to none!

In 1989, the production version of the Delta went hand in hand with the development of Lancia's competition cars. Built as the final homologation version for the Lancia Rally Team, the Evo was the ultimate expression of technological innovation. The first Evoluzione was a far cry from the small family car that it was derived from, as it boasted 210 horsepower and numerous visual cues that hinted at its tarmac-tearing performance. With a pronounced bonnet, numerous vents and even more flared wings, there was no denying that the Lancia Delta of 1980 was all grown up.

Only 200 examples of the Verde York were produced, with a York green exterior and a Champagne perforated leather interior with green stitching. It also includes tinted Solextra windows and Recaro seats. Discover this unique and amazing Lancia in our showroom in Boxtel and imagine yourself among the crowd in Portugal and Argentina!
