“Freude am Fahren” van de tweede generatie: de E28 5 serie. En dan nog wel een M535i! Met 9.424 geproduceerde exemplaren (van de 722.328 E28’s in totaal) is de M535i een ware verzamelingsauto. Al helemaal met de volledig gedocumenteerde kilometerstand van 47.000! Uniek in deze staat, kilometerstand en uitvoering! De 3.4 liter 6 in-lijn motor produceert 218pk en 310Nm koppel. De acceleratie van 0-100 km/u is gedaan in slechts 7,2 seconden en de top bedraagt 230 km/u; prestaties die in die tijd nog maar weinig auto’s konden evenaren, laat staan een luxe sedan. Gekoppeld aan de handgeschakelde 5-bak en achterwielaandrijving staat de E28 garant voor puur rijplezier. Het exterieur van de E28 is opzichte van de E12 weinig veranderd, de bekende ‘shark nose’ bleef behouden en is kenmerkend voor klassieke BMW’s. Het interieur daarentegen kreeg voor het eerst de bekende “cockpit feeling” die in huidige BMW’s nog steeds aanwezig is. Een naar de bestuurder gericht dashboard met de toen nieuwe technieken uit de E23 7-serie. 

Dit exemplaar is geleverd in Arctisblau Metallic met een beige lederen interieur. Een prachtige kleurencombinatie. Luxe opties voor destijds zijn de elektrisch bedienbare ramen, zowel voor als achter en het schuifdak. Leuk detail zijn de geïntegreerde kinderzitjes. Al met al is deze charmeur op wielen in deze staat, uitvoering en kilometerstand een unieke klassieker, en zal in deze conditie alleen maar meer waard worden!

"Freude am Fahren" of the second generation: the E28 5 series. And even more special: a M535i! With only 9,424 produced (out of 722,328 E28’s in total) the M535i is a true collection car. Especially with the fully documented mileage of 47,000km! Unique in this condition, mileage and options! Under the bonnet we find the 3.4 liter 6 in-line engine, which produces 218hp and 310Nm of torque. The acceleration of 0-100 km/h is done in just 7.2 seconds and the top is 230 km/h; performances that only few cars could keep up with, let alone luxury sedans. Coupled with the manual 5-speed and rear-wheel drive, the E28 guarantees pure driving pleasure. The exterior of the E28 has changed little compared to the E12, the well-known 'shark nose' has been retained and is characteristic of classic BMWs. The interior on the other hand received the familiar "cockpit feeling" for the first time which is still present in current BMW’s. A dashboard directed towards the driver with the then new techniques from the E23 7-series.

This M535i is delivered in Arctisblau Metallic with a beige leather interior. A beautiful color combination. Luxury options for the time are the electric windows, both front and rear and the sunroof. A nice detail is the integrated child seats. All in all, the ‘fünfer’ is a charmer on wheels, and in this condition and mileage is a unique classic, and will only become more valuable!
