This 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth is #52 of 120 Italian-market Miki Biason Edition examples built and was initially sold by Compagnia Italiana Automobile in Cagliari, Italy. The car is finished in white over black cloth upholstery, and power is sent to all four wheels via a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include 16″ alloy wheels, a whale tail spoiler, a vented hood, and hexagon-pattern seat inserts. The car is said to have remained with its original owner until 2022 and was subsequently relocated to Germany, where it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023. Service in November 2022 involved replacing the timing belt, accessory belts, tensioner pulley, spark plugs, and tires. This RS Cosworth shows 4,400 kilometers and is complete with factory books, service records, an ASI plaque, a clean European Carfax report, and Italian registration.

The Escort RS was built on a modified Sierra Cosworth platform, and just over 7,000 were produced during a four-year production run. This example is said to be one of the first 2,500 early-production versions built to homologate the model for entry into WRC competition. The Miki Biason Edition was built exclusively for the Italian market, and was named after the rally driver who joined Ford in 1992, and would later campaign the Escort RS Cosworth during the 1993 and 1994 WRC seasons. All Miki Biason Edition examples featured non-sunroof bodies finished in Diamond White. Additional equipment includes a vented hood, flared fenders, side marker lamps, dual side-view mirrors, a locking fuel cap, a single exhaust outlet, and a whale tail spoiler. 

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black cloth with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Hexagon-pattern seat inserts were standard on all Miki Biason Edition cars, as were manual windows and the absence of a radio and an electric trunk release.

The dash-mounted plaque features a Miki Biason signature and denotes the car as #52 of 120 examples built.
