In zeer goede staat verkerende Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG Kombi, met slechts 57.000km op de teller. Dit faceliftmodel is afkomstig uit 2005 en is in tegenstelling tot het pre-faceliftmodel uitgerust met een 5.5 liter V8. De motor levert 367pk en 510Nm koppel wat zorgt voor snelle prestaties: een sprintje van 0 naar 100 gebeurt in slechts 5,4 seconden en de top bedraagt een begrensde 250 km/u. Gekoppeld aan de destijds nieuwe 5-traps automaat heeft de Benz bij zowel sportief als rustig rijgedrag een zeer prettige aandrijflijn. Het is bijzonder hoe comfortabel en sportief de C55 tegelijkertijd is. Ook bij hoge snelheden voelt de Mercedes aan zoals dat hoort en blijven het onderstel en de ophanging zeer goed zijn werk doen.  

Het voorkant van de C55 doet nauwelijks vermoeden dat er een beest van een motor onder de kap ligt. In tegenstelling tot de huidige Mercedes-AMG modellen zijn de lijnen van de ‘normale’ C behouden. De achterkant van de Mercedes laat echter wel zien dat het een serieuze auto is; met vierdubbele uitlaatpijp met AMG emblemen, en de letters ‘C55 AMG’ herkennen liefhebbers de wagen gelijk. Dit exemplaar is geleverd in Obsidian Black Metallic en heeft een geventileerd Anthrazit Nappa leder/alcantara interieur. Met De Benz heeft een chique uitstraling, zeker met de juiste opties waarmee de auto is uitgerust. Zo behoren Bi-Xenon koplampen met wasfunctie, een glazen schuifdak en stoelverwarming tot de optielijst. Al met al een zeer fraaie performance estate, die in staat, kilometerstand en uitvoering veel potentie heeft als ‘future classic’ en garant staat voor nog vele kilometers puur rijplezier!

The engine delivers 367hp and 510Nm of torque which ensures fast performance: a sprint from 0 to 100 happens in just 5.4 seconds and the top is a limited 250 km/h. Coupled to the then new 5-speed automatic transmission, the Benz has a very nice powertrain in both sporty and quiet driving. It is special how comfortable and sporty the C55 is at the same time. Even at high speeds, the Mercedes feels as it should and the chassis and suspension continue to do its job very well. 

The front of the C55 hardly suggests that there is a beast of an engine under the hood. In contrast to the current Mercedes-AMG models, the lines of the 'normal' C-class are retained. The back of the Mercedes shows that it is a serious car; the quad pipe exhaust with AMG emblems, and the letters 'C55 AMG' let enthusiasts recognise the car right away. This Benz was delivered in Obsidian Black Metallic and has a ventilated Anthrazit Nappa leather/alcantara interior. The Benz has a chic look, especially with the right options which the car is equipped with. For example, Bi-Xenon headlights with washing function, a glass sunroof and heated seats are part of the option list. All in all a very nice performance estate, which in this condition, mileage and option list has a lot of potential as 'future classic' and guarantees many kilometers of pure driving pleasure!
